These Student Terms apply whenever you contact, book, or work with a tutor you found through MedicoMedics. They apply in addition to our general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. MedicoMedics is a listings platform
MedicoMedics provides a directory that lets independent tutors publish listings and lets you contact them. We do not employ, supervise, endorse, or vet tutors, and we do not verify their qualifications, credentials, availability, or the accuracy of anything they say in their listing or during sessions. Any tutoring relationship is directly between you and the tutor.
2. Do your own diligence
- Ask the tutor for evidence of the credentials, experience, or licences they claim.
- Agree on scope, format, schedule, cancellation policy, and price before your first session.
- Trust your instincts - if something feels wrong, don't book.
3. Payments happen off-platform
MedicoMedics does not process payments, hold funds, or act as a payment agent. All fees, invoices, refunds, cancellations, and disputes are strictly between you and the tutor. Use a payment method you're comfortable with, keep your own records, and never send money to anyone you cannot identify.
4. Educational content only - not medical advice
Tutoring through MedicoMedics is medical education only. It is not medical advice, does not create a doctor-patient relationship, and must not be used to diagnose or treat a real patient - including yourself, a family member, or anyone else. For personal health concerns, contact a licensed clinician in your jurisdiction or emergency services.
5. Reporting problems
Every tutor listing has a "Report listing" button. Use it if you see false credentials, payment scams, impersonation, harassment, sexual content, requests for real medical advice, or anything else that violates our rules. Our team reviews reports and can suspend or remove listings.
6. Reviews
After a completed tutoring request you may leave a rating and a written review. Reviews must be honest, based on your own experience, and free of defamatory, discriminatory, or unlawful content. We may remove reviews that violate these rules.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MedicoMedics is not liable for any loss, damage, or harm arising from (a) a tutor's acts or omissions, (b) the quality, safety, or outcome of any tutoring session, (c) any payment made or not made to a tutor, or (d) any dispute between you and a tutor. Your recourse for those matters is with the tutor directly.
8. Changes
We may update these Student Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the app. Your continued use of the tutor listings feature after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
