About

Built by medics, for medical students.

medicomedics is a learning platform for medical students and junior doctors. We produce original lectures, board-style MCQs, a free public disease library, hand-drawn illustrations, interactive clinical games and structured study plans - supported by a global student community.

Our mission

Medical education is fragmented across textbooks, question banks, outdated slides and scattered notes. Our goal is to consolidate the essentials into one reliable, up-to-date resource that respects students' time and reflects current clinical practice.

What we produce in-house

Lectures, illustrations, question explanations and every entry in our public disease library are produced by our team. Each library condition carries a visible last-reviewed date and the guidelines it was checked against. AI is used selectively for translation and first drafts only - a human reviews clinical content before publication.

Editorial standards

  • Clinical content is reviewed by a member of our editorial team before publication, and disease pages show the reviewer and review date.
  • Content aims to align with current major guidelines (NICE, ESC, AHA, WHO, IDSA, KDIGO) and cites those sources inline.
  • MCQ explanations link to a primary source where a clear one exists.
  • Reported errors are reviewed and addressed as quickly as we can, typically within a few working days. Report anything to info@medicomedics.com.

The team

medicomedics is run by a small team of medical students, junior doctors and clinicians based across Europe and South Asia. Our editorial board covers internal medicine, emergency medicine, paediatrics and surgery. Licensed clinicians interested in joining as reviewers are welcome to get in touch.
